This book is an amazing read! Juli took scriptures that I had heard my whole life and transformed my way of thinking. One of the most powerful truths that I have taken away from this book is that words are seeds and what we say can speak life or death. WOW! It's a constant reminder that we can show people, including our loved ones, who Jesus is by the words we speak to them. This book has inspired me to delve into the scriptures to see what amazing things God wants to reveal to me. It has reminded me to cultivate my own faith & give it nourishment to grow. These principles should be such common sense for us, yet this book has made these principles so much more profound. I am truly thankful & blessed by this book. I highly recommend the Sower and the Seed. The author not only engages the reader in a very clear interaction with this parable that was so foundational to Jesus' teaching - she also shows how Jesus' message was a fulfillment of the truth and promises that are interwoven through the Old Testament. This is the kind of study that helps you connect the dots to see the big picture of God's plan of love and redemption. I also appreciated the very honest and encouraging way she includes how this parable has impacted her own faith journey.
This a great book! Short and powerful which is great for a slow reader like me! -) The authors understanding of the bible as a whole is obvious. She includes so many verses in it as well ... it's easy for someone to say "the bible says this" but she includes the verses and why they are so powerful and related. Even if you think you understand this great parable, you will get a lot out of this.
On a side note, I think the cover is sweet! Good design! -)
This book breaks the parable that Jesus gave about the sower of the seed in a way I've never heard before. Ever personal growth seeker knows that the principles of sowing and reaping are universal laws but more importantly a kingdom truth. But most christians fail to understand what the Word says about it and therefore do not get the revelation they need to succeed in life as a child of the living God.
But this book goes deep into the principles of sowing and reaping. Juli does a great job of explaining each part of the scripture about the sower of the seed and how it applies to our daily walk with Christ. Although i teach and write about this topic myself, I've received many new revelations about it while reading Juli's book. This is a must read for all Christians!
If you are looking for a power packed, short read that will provide new insight, this is a must. I appreciate the authors insight into scripture, and diligently taking the time to cross reference points to ensure it is theologically sound. Camarin's understanding of the Word has great depth, and she is able to unwrap significant truths in a very accessible and applicable fashion.
This author lays out a fundamental Kingdom Principle that gives us the key to doing what Jesus said in John 1412, that we would do what Jesus was doing, and even greater things these.
This book lays a great foundation for why these truths are important, why the teachings of Jesus have such a great impact on our lives, and how we ought to receive these teachings to operate in these promises.

If you're looking for a book that will put a fire in your belly for delving into, understanding, memorizing, and applying Scripture, this is it! Though a short read, the content is foundational to understanding why God gave us His word, and the power within His word to transform lives. The style in which "Sower of the Seed" is written is accessible to anyone, and the illustrations used by the author make the messages stick. This book is a game changer for me in the way I approach Scripture.
Juli's book encouraged my heart, but also, engraved in my heart the amazing truth that the Word of God is a seed. She beautifully writes how important it is to be intentional with the seeds we plant because it determines what will reap in the harvest. Reading through The Parable of the Sower, through Juli's in depth explanations, gave me a refreshed outlook about the seeds I am planting in my own life. Her writing helped me to reflect how I am sowing my seeds and how that affects what is being reaped in my life. She always came back to the amazing truth that we must renew our mind by the Word of God. Her use of Scripture took me on a beautiful journey through my own Bible and gave me greater insight to passages I had read before, but did not understand as deeply. Juli writes in such a way that you feel like you are discussing these truths over a cup of coffee with a dear friend.
Juli does a great job explaining the parable of the Sower and the Seed and how we can apply it to our lives! She explains it in a way that is easy to understand, but yet very insightful even for those of us who have heard and studied the parable many times in our lives! It is obvious that Juli poured her heart into this book and studied this parable well. Everything is backed up with additional scripture and she includes very practical application to our everyday lives. It would be a great book to study in a small group or for individual study. I have very little time to read so I loved that the book had short chapters and subsections in each chapter. It made it easy to read and digest a little at a time. Looking forward to her next book!
